How Kanni Connects Your Runs, Reflections, and Training
See how your training data and running journal give Kanni’s AI coach context for your next conversation.
A completed workout tells part of the story. How it felt adds another part. Kanni brings the two together so you can ask more useful questions about your training.
Start with the run
Review the workout you recorded: pace, available heart-rate data, splits, and other supported metrics. These details help you compare what you planned with what happened.
Add what the numbers missed
Leave a written reflection or record a voice note. You might remember that the warm-up felt heavy, that you slept poorly, or that the last interval felt surprisingly comfortable. Keep those details in your running journal.
Bring the context to your coach
Ask about a recent session or your upcoming week. The coach can use available training and recovery information, and read relevant journal entries when answering. Try a question such as “How does my last run fit into this week?” or “Can we move Thursday’s session?”
These are example questions, not guaranteed responses. What the coach can explain depends on the data available. Explore recovery insights to understand the inputs.
Review what changes
When the coach proposes an edit to a training session, you review it before applying it. You can discuss a different day, a lighter session, or a change in your goal. Learn more about training adjustments.
Take the session to your wrist
Supported structured workouts can sync to Apple Workout on a compatible paired watch. After the workout, bring the completed run back through Apple Health and add your reflection. See the Apple Watch workflow.
